Pasto

After the rollercoaster ride from Pitalito to Pasto we determined that our Laptop isn’t working anymore. It just won’t start. Poor thing… Perhaps the tremors and the vibrations of the road was too much for it. First thing we did at Pasto was to find a big media store, where they can repair our Laptop. Otherwise we need to buy a new one. For the following three days we were at Akosto and checked every single opportunity. We opened our Laptop and saw, that something between the power connector and the battery was broken. A reparation would cost as much as a new Laptop. Therefore, we spend hours to figure out, which Laptop at Akosto has an English language package on it, and how we can install it. In total we were there for surely 10 hours! In the end, we bought a nice looking HP with a bigger system storage than our old one. Ah... finally I can work on the blog again!

While we had to wait for more information about the Laptop we walked around the city and saw some beautiful places like the Catedral de San Ezequiel Moreno Diaz, the Plaza de Nariño and the government building. I also got my Colombian Souvenir Tattoo here at the Chino Town Tattoo Studio. It’s a green crowned woodnymph, a local hummingbird of Colombia.

Nach der Achterbahnfahrt von Pitalito nach Pasto stellten wir fest, dass unser Laptop nicht mehr funktioniert. Er startet einfach nicht mehr. Armes Ding... Vielleicht waren die Erschütterungen und die Vibrationen zu viel für ihn. Als erstes suchten wir in Pasto somit nach einem grossen Elektronikgeschäft, wo man unseren Laptop reparieren kann. Ansonsten müssen wir einen neuen kaufen. Die nächsten drei Tage verbrachten wir bei Akosto und prüften alle Möglichkeiten. Wir öffneten unseren Laptop und sahen, das etwas zwischen dem Stromstecker und der Batterie kaputt war. Eine Reparatur würde etwa gleich viel kosten wie ein neuer Laptop. Darum verbrachten wir Stunden bei Akosto um herauszufinden, welcher Laptop ein Englisches Sprachpacket besitzt und wie wir es installieren können. Gesammthaft waren wir bestimmt 10 Stunden dort! Am Ende kauften wir uns einen schönen HP mit einem grösseren Speicher als unser alte. Ah... Endlich kann ich wieder am Blog arbeiten!

Während wir auf mehr Informationen über den Laptop warten mussten, spazierten wir in der Stadt umher und sahen einige schöne Plätze wie die Catedral de San Ezequiel Moreno Diaz, der Plaza de Nariño und das Rathaus. Ich bekam auch mein kolumbianisches Souvenir Tattoo hier beim Chino Town Tattoo Studio. Es ist eine Grünkronennymphe, ein einheimischer Kolibri von Kolumbien.
