Jaipur

Since yesterday we are in Jaipur, also named as pink city. It is famous for the beautiful handmade fabric, handcrafts and gems. Everything is high quality and will be exported around the world. We visited a factory of every kind of this wonderful art.
Today we visited the Amber Palace, thats the place you see on the first three pictures. It is huge! A nice army guy showed us every part of the fortress.
After that, we were riding an 35 years ord elefant lady. I never had such a peaceful and relaxing ride. It was soo romantic :-)
The last picture shows me in a traditional Saree. It's very comfortable and easy to wrap. The indians really appreciate it, when foreigner wear traditional clothes.

Seit gestern sind wir in Jaipur, auch Pink City genannt. Es ist bekannt für seine wunderschönen handgemachten Stoffe, Handarbeiten, und Edelsteine. Alles ist von höchster Qualität und wird in die ganze Welt exportiert. Wir haben von jeweils jeder wundervollen Kunst eine Fabrik besucht. Heute besuchten wir den Amber Palace. Das ist der Ort, der auf den ersten drei Bilder zu sehen ist. Es ist riesig! Ein netter Mann von der Armee zeigte uns jeden Teil dieser Festung.
Danach ritten wir auf einer 35 Jahre alten Elefantendame. Ich hatte noch nie einen so friedlichen und entspannenden ausritt. Es war soo romantisch :-)
Das letzte Bild zeigt mich in einem traditionellen Saree. Es ist sehr bequem und einfach zu wickeln. Die Inder schätzen es sehr, wenn Ausländer traditionelle Kleider tragen.
