Mumbai

So there we are..  After a long busride we finally arrived Mumbai. At a very crowded trainride to the central of Mumbai, I lost my fitnesstracker and the crowd destroyed my bag. They almost pulled out Michaels bag, because everybody was leaving the train at the same time. Totally tired and sweaty we arrived at the hotel, which was in the middle of an islamic area. So, not much india feeling here...  We went to the beach and the day after to a small island named Elephanta. The nature was pretty but we just can't enjoy it. Every meter someone was asking for a photo or try to sell you something. As you can see on the picture with the blueboard, the prices for foreigners are over 16 times more expensive than for indians. Thats sooo annoying... We had such a big indian depression, we almost wanted to quit and escape to Thailand. But, what does not kill you makes you stronger! So we wait and first see what Goa has to offer :-)

So, da sind wir nun.. Nach einer langen Busfahrt haben wir nun endlich Mumbai erreicht. In einer überfüllten Zugfahrt zum Zentrum von Mumbai, hab ich meinen Fitnesstracker verloren und die Menschenmenge hat mir meinen Rucksack kaputt gemacht. Sie hatten beinahe Michis Rucksack mit rausgezogen, weil jeder zu gleichen Zeit aussteigen wollte. Total müde und verschwitzt erreichten wir unser Hotel, welches mitten im islamistenviertel lag. Also nicht viel vom indischen feeling hier... Wir gingen zum Strand und am Tag danach zu einer kleinen Insel namens Elephanta. Die Natur war sehr schön, aber wir konnten es nicht geniessen. Jeden Meter wollte jemand ein Foto mit uns machen, oder uns etwas verkaufen. Wie ihr auf dem Bild mit der blauen Tafel sehen könnt, sind die Preise für Ausländer 16 x teurer als für Inder. Das ist sooo lästig...  Wir hatten eine so grosse Indien Depression, wir wollten beinahe abbrechen und nach Thailand abhauen. Aber was dich nicht umbringt macht dich stärker! Also warten wir mal ab und schauen, was Goa zu bieten hat :-)
