Because Cancun is growing too fast and is too expensive, many tourist are looking for another jewel at the Riviera Maya. And now there is Playa del Carmen. Once a small village, now a tourist destination too, but with fewer Hotel resorts. The city is full with beautiful streetart. You can find it everywhere! We didn't like the beach very much, because there was a dirty brown stream right at the seashore. Maybe this is seasonal, I don't know. But the city was very vibrant. There were a lot of attractions on the street and a lot of shopping opportunities.
Once again we visited a Cenote. I read at Pinterest, that the Cenoe Azul should be the most beautiful Cenote around here. It was awesome! The water was so freaking clear and changed from green to blue. We were snorkeling around and explored every corner. Incredibly what can be created by nature. There were a lot of small fished who nibbled on our feet. In the city you pay alot for those beauty treatments. We got it for free :-D
Weil Cancun zu schnell wächst und zu teuer ist, suchen sich viele Touristen einen neuen Juwel an der Riviera Maya. Und nun gibt es Playa del Carmen. Einst ein kleines Dorf, doch nun ist es auch eine Touristen Destination aber mit weniger Hotel Resorts. Die Stadt ist voller schöner Strassenkunst. Man findet sie überall! Wir mochten den Strand nicht so sehr, weil ein dreckig brauner Strom gleich am Strandabschnitt entlang floss. Vielleicht ist das Saisonal, keine Ahnung. Aber die Stadt war sehr lebendig. Es gab viele Attraktionen auf der Strasse und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Einmal mehr besuchten wir einen Cenoten. Ich las auf Pinterest, dass der Cenote Azul der schönste Cenote in dieser Gegend sein soll. Es war der Hammer! Das Wasser war so wahnsinns klar und wechselte von grün zu blau. Wir schnorchelten umher und entdeckten so jede Ecke. Unglaublich was die Natur kreiren kann. Es hatte sehr viele kleine Fische die an unseren Füssen knabberten. In der Stadt bezahlt man viel für solche Schönheitsbehandlungen. Wir bekamen sie kostenlos :-D
